MLM Success Formula!

MLM, Network Marketing, Referral Marketing, Word of Mouth Marketing … there are many names for this much maligned business model.  The REAL truth is that most people DO NOT understand how to be successful in this business.

The Facts about MLM:

1. It is NOT a selling business
2. It is NOT a convincing business
3. You should NOT have a garage full of products
4. People will NOT avoid you after you share your opportunity with them!
5. It is NOT a “get rich quick” business
6. You will NOT make tons of money at the beginning
7. If you find 2 business partners and you help them find 2 … this duplication works out to over 4,000 people in your business in 12 months:


Of course, it is not a perfect world … what if your business grew ONLY 10% in the 1st year? That is OVER 400 people!  Imagine year number 2!


How you approach potential business partners will determine if you will be a "rock star" in this business.

The biggest stumbling block is how to share your new business with others.  Here is a BIG TIP … don’t talk … JUST LISTEN.

1. No one wants to be turned down or rejected.
2. Not everyone is qualified to be your business partner
3. Listening is the KEY to success!

What are people saying … are they sick of their jobs, worried about money or need free time to enjoy the money that they have.  Make mental notes of what you hear, write it down, wait a couple of days and “hook up” with them again … either by phone, email or in person.  

Ask them if they were serious the other day when they were complaining about “job, money or time” and then wait for the answer … maybe they will say no, that they were simply blowing off steam … OK … no harm, no foul, but if they come back and say YES, they were serious, you will have your opening …

Your next sentence will be:

“If you could find a way … to make extra money that would allow you to (fill in the blank)   “quit your job / help pay the bills / or give you the freedom to spend more time doing whatever you want” … would you want that information?”

LISTEN to what they say.  It might be “heck yes!” or, they might say no! Whatever the answer is, you haven’t put yourself out there to be rejected.  You feel good about yourself and what you are doing either way.

If they said yes, then this is your opportunity … 

1. Ask them if they will have a few minutes in the next 2 days to watch a video … if they say yes, then send them your “presentation video”. 

2. If they say no … then they have disqualified themselves for right now … this is NOT someone you want as a business partner!

3. If they say “what’s it all about?” just tell them you don’t have time to explain it.  To please watch the video and it will answer many of their questions.  As they watch the video have them write down any questions that were not answered.

Once you send them the presentation wait 2 days and then contact them.  Ask if they watched the video.

1. If yes, ask if they have any questions.  If they have questions, then hook them up with your upline via skype or email.  By using a “third” party you are NOT risking rejection … AND … third party selling WORKS!

2. If no, then ask why?  Then ask when they will have time.  Unless the reason is really credible, they are probably not going to be your business partner …  that is OK!

To be successful in this business you only need 2 to 3 good people … and then help them find 2-3 people.
